Goal: Nonprofit housing developers and universities will work together to identify the disparity between older adult housing needs in Orange County and housing availability. Release study findings to community leaders at an OCSPA Summit.

Quarter 1
January – March 31

  • The subcommittee’s is in its early stages tin brainstorming on how to develop a county-wide Housing Navigation Service that will match seniors to existing housing options. 
  • Subcommittee would also like to focus on collecting data on homeless older adults and to partner with existing efforts such as United Way’s United to End Homelessness Campaign to become the “voice for aging”
    • Jim McAleer met with CEO of United Way to discuss the United to End Homelessness Campaign
